The General Housing and Amenities Division said that it is fully ready for the winter season. In case of ice or precipitation, the Division will intervene with its machines to spread antiskid material in yards of apartment buildings, on sidewalks and on the streets that are within its area of responsibility, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Division said that its winter service vehicles are ready to be used and were transmitted to municipal housing services enterprises of Chisinau.
The Division has about 80 units of transport and 50 of these are tractors, 20 are Hako CityMaster machines, while ten are Avant mini loaders. The vehicles were equipped with snow brooms, shovels and salt spreaders.
The General Housing and Amenities Division this year purchased 1,516.4 tonnes of salt that was stored at all the district service provision enterprises.
