Houses for flood victims to be transferred to territorial-administrative units

After completing the construction of the houses for flood victims, the Ministry of Construction and Regional Development will transfer them under the ownership of the territorial-administrative units, which will distribute them to the families whose homes have been damaged by this summer’s floods. A decision to this effect was taken by the Government on December 2. It applies to the 612 houses built with the money collected into the special account for helping the flood victims from Cotul Morii, Sarateni and Obileni villages and to another nine houses constructed with the money provided by Georgia. About 10 km of road in Nemteni village, 3 km of road in Obileni and 16 km of road in Cotul Morii and Sarateni will also be transferred to the territorial-administrative units, with their consent. In the future, there will be built gas, water and sewerage systems and other social and cultural facilities that will be signed over after they are put into operation.
