A hot water pipe burst on Metropolitan Bishop Dosoftei St in Chisinau, not far from the Kentford building. The head of the press service of heat supplier SA Termocom Iuliana Liliana Bogushevski has told IPN that specialized teams are working to fix the problem.

According to Iuliana Bogushevski, the pipe yielded because of the fluctuations in the heating system following the sudden closure of heat.

The mayor of Chisinau made an order to close the heating season on April 1.
