The therapy section and the maternity hospital of the Ceadâr-Lunga District Hospital resumed work on May 25. According to the local press, the decision to lift the quarantine was taken by the health authorities of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, IPN reports.

Last Sunday, after a number of repair works, the infectious diseases hospital in Ceadâr-Lunga started work. There are now 14 patients and 11 of them were confirmed with COVID-19. The number of infections in ATU Gagauzia totals 360.

On May 14, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection said that 17 employees of the Ceadâr-Lunga District Hospital were confirmed with COVID-19. Most of these worked for the neurology and therapy sections and the maternity hospital.
