Hospice Angelus Moldova holds the 6th Annual Charity Ball with an exciting Flowers & Wine theme on May 16. The event is designed to financially support the continuous provision of free palliative care services to terminally ill children and adults in Moldova, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the organization, this year’s event will involve over 200 persons, among whom representatives of embassies working in Moldova, members of the EU Delegation, UNDP , the International Women’s Club of Moldova (IWCM) and of the business community.
The event starts with a champagne reception, followed by a dinner accompanied by an artistic program. There will be also held an exclusive auction to sell paintings by national painters, a collection of wine, trips and other surprises so as to help the cause of Hospice Angelus Moldova.
Hospice Angelus social assistant Diana Gutium said it does not matter how many days the beneficiaries of the center will yet live. What is important is how they live them, while Hospice Angelus will be near them and their families.
For over 14 years, Hospice Angelus has been the main provider of free palliative care services in Moldova, intended for children and adults suffering from diseases in advanced and terminal stages. In 2014, more than 2,300 patients benefitted from the foundation’s services, by 500 more than a year before.
