Bailiffs will be able to receive honorariums of at most 500,000 lei. Parliament adopted a law that caps the honorariums of bailiffs in the second reading on March 27. A number of 52 MPs voted for it, IPN reports.

The lawmakers explained that the honorariums of bailiffs must be limited as they can be excessively high, even of several million lei.

Under the law, the debtors will have 15 days at their disposal to implement the court decision without the bailiff intervening.
