Homeless woman suffers frostbite and general hypothermia
A woman with no permanent place of residence was rushed to the hospital with frostbite and general hypothermia.
Anatol Proca, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 62-year-old woman was discovered in the park near Pushkin Hillock at about 8.30 P.M.. She had both her legs frostbitten.
A man aged 38 tried to kill himself by drinking mercury. He was taken to Saint Trinity Hospital for detox.
A woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl in her own house. The mother, who has an elder child, called the ambulance too late. The ambulance took the mother and daughter to the maternity hospital.
Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service recorded 801 calls, dealing with 113 cases of acute viral infection, 22 cases of flu, 71 cases of trauma and five strokes.
