The car in which Minister of the Interior Dorin Recean and Deputy Minister Veaceslav Ceban travelled overturned on the Rezina-Orhei road. Nobody was hurt, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Ministry of the Interior, the accident happened at about 18.30 on June 12. The vehicle driven by Dorin Recean overturned after a tire burst. The driver and the passenger had the seatbelts fastened.

The car travelled at a speed of 65 km per hour. The two officials were returning from a working meeting with heads of the Ministry of the Interior’s subdivisions in Telenesti, Orhei, Rezina, Soldanesti, and Criuleni.

The accident was recorded by the Rezina Police Inspectorate. The alcoholmeter showed Dorin Recean hadn’t drunk alcoholic beverages.
