History Museum to hold exhibition dedicated to Chisinau

Objects discovered in the Valea Morilor area and near Mazarache Church, dated from the Stone Age to the 15th century, will be displayed at the National Museum of History and Archeology in an exhibition dedicated to the 575th anniversary of Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Many items will be shown to the public for the first time and will include coins from the Museum's collection which were minted or found in Chisinau.
A significant number of documents on the medieval Chisinau from the Archives of the Moldovan Academy of Sciences will also exhibited.
Additionally, Moldova Mail will launch a series of postal stamps and postcards dedicated to the anniversary.
The exhibition will start on Thursday, October 13. The event is organized in partnership with the Academy of Sciences' Archives, Cultural Patrimony Institute and Zoology Institute.
