The period for paying allowances for looking after children who suffer from cancer has been extended in the Transnistrian region. The parents who lost their children in explosions caused by ammunitions dating from the armed conflict of 1992 will be exempted from paying half of the cost of public utilities and will travel free by public transport, IPN reports, quoting the local press.
The payments for the citizens who hold the title of honorific donor were doubled as from January 1. As from this year, the first identity card will be issued free of charge, regardless of the applicant’s age, not only for people aged 16, as until recently. The orphan children, prisoners or persons freed from detention will be able to change the identity card free of charge if they lose or damage this.
Also, the region’s administration undertook to raise the salaries and provide bonuses to pays to a number of categories of public sector employees, including logopedists and defectologists, staffs of psycho-neurological wards for children with central nervous system and locomotor system diseases.
