A significant rise in the number of applications filed through the email of SA “Apă-Canal Chisinau” (ACC), acc@acc.md, was recorded last year, to about 9,000. Given the pandemic, the supplier continues to extend its interaction with the citizens through electronic services, IPN reports.

Most of the applicants asked to be connected to the public water supply and sewerage system, to clean manholes and to recalculate the volume of water. The other applications referred to bills, auxiliary services and requests to be issued with bills through email. According to the ACC, the results are due to the activities carried out to inform different categories of applicants about the advantages of using online services.

The company’s administration recommends all the consumers to benefit from this service that is available round-the-clock. The necessity of going to the head office is excluded and money is economized on mail delivery. Also, a swift response is obtained to the online application and, what is more important, the spread of and infection with COVID-19 are prevented.
