The allowances for children who remained without parental care and who are placed in family-type children’s homes will be raised by 100 lei to 750 lei per child, IPN reports, quoting amendments and supplements approved by the Government to previous decisions.

The allowances for children placed in the professional parent assistance service will increase from 27.7 to 31 lei/day.

The over 1 million lei needed for the purpose will be provided from the budgets of the local public authorities.
