The municipality of Chisinau dominates the rankings of the top 15 high schools of the Republic of Moldova with the highest average grades in the Baccalaureate exams 2024. With a pass rate of 100%, the high schools in Chisinau have once again confirmed the dedication and professionalism of the teachers, as well as the effort of the students, said the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports of Chisinau.
Of the over 18,000 candidates admitted at the national level, more than 10,000 candidates were from the municipality of Chisinau and these sat the exams in 31 Baccalaurean centers. The results obtained by them show a high level of academic training and performance, IPN reports.
Among the leading high schools are “Aristotel” Republican Theoretical High School – 9.02 (100% pass rate), “Spiru Haret” Republican Theoretical High School – 8.89 (100% pass rate), and “Mircea Eliade” Theoretical High School – 8.84 (100% pass rate).
“This exceptional performance reflects the constant efforts made by the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport of Chisinau to improve the quality of education and support academic excellence. We are proud of our students and are grateful to the teachers and parents who contributed to these remarkable results,” reads a press release.
This year’s Baccalaureate session involved 367 institutions, of which 312 theoretical high schools, 49 colleges and 6 higher education institutions. According to the final results of the session, 132 theoretical high schools have a 100% pass rate (compared to 98 the previous year), of which 22 have an average grade higher than 8 (compared to 8 the previous year).
