A woman principal of a Chisinau high school was arrested for asking and taking €600 from a student’s parent for admitting this student to the given school by transfer, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Prosecutor General’s Office.

The principal was arrested in the evening of August 28. As a result of a search performed in her office, the woman voluntarily yielded up the money taken from the parent. She was put under arrest for 72 hours.
