A number of Heads of Parliament will pay separate visits to Chisinau in autumn. Speaker Igor Corman told a news conference that special attention will be paid to the development of the relations with the European Parliament and the political groups of Euronest, which is a parliamentary institution of the Eastern Partnership (EaP), IPN reports.

The head of the Parliament of Sweden, which initiated the EaP, is expected to come to Chisinau in September. Moldova will be also visited by the Speakers of Poland and Ukraine.

Igor Corman will pay a visit to Bucharest in September. “Romania is an important country for the Republic of Moldova. The interest is to have a pragmatic, European-like agenda that will not leave room for speculation. I think the lawmakers can contribute to advancing things,” said the Moldovan Speaker.

Also in autumn, Igor Corman will go on a visit to Lithuania, whose capital will host the EaP Summit in November.
