Aggressors who will intentionally harm the honor and dignity of employees of the Ministry of Home Affairs while these are in the line of duty will be punished harsher. The amendments made to the Contravention Code took effect, IPN reports.
The fine will range from 500 to 1,250 lei. The punishment will also include 40 to 60 hours of community service.
Aggressive individuals who will put up resistance to employees of the Ministry while these are on the job will be fined 1,500 to 2,250 lei or will be punished with 30 to 60 hours of community service, or with 10 to 15 days under arrest.
Those who will intentionally not obey the legal requests or orders of employee of the Ministry will be fined 2,000 to 3,000 lei or will be punished with 40 to 70 hours of community service, or 3 to 5 days under arrest.
