At the National Theatre “Mihai Eminescu” from Chisinau was launched on Friday, May 19 the book entitled “Theatre and Time” of the theatre critic, Elfrida Koroliova. The book presents the plastic element of the theatre from the ancient to the postmodern period. A distinct chapter is dedicated to the theater life and activity of the stage managers Victor Gherlac and Petru Vutcarau. The author proposes a retrospective of the most representative performances staged by these two great theatre directors. The book, published in Russian with the support of the Russian Communities Congress, is dedicated to specialists, art students and to those who love theatre as well. The book was released within the VII edition of the Biennale Theatre Festival “Eugene Ionesco”, which starded on Tuesday, May 16, having the slogan “Betwenn East and West”.
