Help from India
India offers Moldova $100,000 for overcoming the damage caused by this year’s flooding.
India’s ambassador in Moldova, residing in Bucharest, Debashish Chakravarti, has arrived in Chisinau to transmit his country’s support and solidarity with the Moldovan people in its time of need, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The money, $100000, was transferred at the beginning of this week on a special bank account, destined to help the victims of the flooding. Indian Government’s donation will be directed to the construction of new homes for the families without a shelter.
