There is currently heavy traffic at the entrance and exit of Moldova through the Leușeni, Sculeni and Cahul border crossing points. The Border Police recommend the travelers to choose a frontier post with Romania where the crossing time is minimum, such as Costești, Lipcani and Giurgiulești-Galați, IPN reports

According to the Border Police, all the processing lanes are functional and the number of customs inspectors was increased so as to cope with the flows. However, given that the persons who do not have documents enabling them to avoid self-isolation need to fill the epidemiological form, the border controls last longer than usual.

At the same time, owing to the large number of travellers, difficulties are experienced in using the information system of the Border Police.

The Border Police ask the trippers to show understanding and to inform themselves from official sources when planning a trip.
