Heavy rains during the weekend washed out kilometers of local roads in Singerei town. The Singerei Commission for Exceptional Situations estimated the damage at over 2 million lei. Dorina Sochirca, press officer of the Civil Protection and Exceptional Situation Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that 10 kilometers of local road have been destroyed. Besides, heavy rains damaged hundreds of hectares of farmlands in several districts. In Cobani village, Glodeni district, 100 hectares of soy, sunflower and corn have been affected. Further 100 hectares of sunflower have been damaged in Prodanesti, Floresti district. In Bahrinesti, same district, 300 hectares of sunflower, soy and sugar beet have been washed out. The Commissions for Exceptional Situations are to evaluate the damages.
