There will be heavy precipitation in the form of rain and sleet - 15-30 l/m2, in parts 35-45 l/m2 - on April 20 and 21. The northwestern wind will intensify to 22 m/s. Weather forecasters updated the yellow code warning issued at the start of this week, IPN reports.

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, the advisory covering the period until April 24 was issued in connection with the sudden decrease in temperatures and expected ground frost of -1..-4 degrees Celsius, in parts air frost of 0..-3 degrees Celsius.

Next week the weather will gradually grow warmer. Next Tuesday and Wednesday, daytime temperatures will rise to +12 ..+15 degrees Celsius, while in southern Moldova will reach +17 degrees Celsius.
