The State Weather Service is extending the ongoing code-yellow heat advisory by two more days. This means that until Saturday included, highs, in particular in the central and southern districts of the country, will be around 33-34 degrees Celsius.
Over the weekend, temperatures at night will range from 16 to 20 degrees, and daytime temperatures from 29 to 34 degrees Celsius.
During the next few days, thunderstorms are expected in northern Moldova. The southern districts will see some showers on Friday, and the central part on Sunday.
