The 2024-2025 heating season in Chisinau was declared closed on Monday. The buildings will be disconnected from the heating system upon request, IPN reports.

Under the municipality’s ordinance, the heat suppliers, "Termoelectrica" and " Apă-Canal Chișinău", will make sure that the housing sector, educational and medical institutions are disconnected from the central heating system in accordance with the contractual provisions, based on the request of building managers.

Consumers in Chisinau will continue to be provided with hot water that is supplied through the municipal system, the quoted source noted.
