Heating season closed for housing stock
The Chisinau City Hall announced that the heating season for the housing stock has been closed. In the March 19 meeting of City Hall officials, deputy mayor Vlad Cotet said such a decision was taken because the average temperatures during the last three days exceeded the set limit of 8 degrees Celsius, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“The schools, kindergartens and hospitals will not be disconnected from the heat supply because rain and lower temperatures were forecast for the end of this week,” said Vlad Cotet.
Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca asked presenting a comprehensive report on the results of the heating season this year.
The heating season for kindergartens and hospitals started on October 17. The heat to the other public institutions and the housing stock started to be supplied on October 22.
