The Chisinau mayor says the risk of heat supplying in the city is there. “We have more problems than we would have liked to and they can still appear in the thermal agent delivery,” he told his staff on Monday , Info-Prim Neo reports. According to deputy mayor Vlad Cotet, there are no problems in this respect now. “The thermal agent is delivered as due, its exit temperature is 81 degrees, according to the standard, and the city residents do not complain”, he said. The legal direction head Diana Gurschi has said the Prosecutor's Office informed the Chisinau City Hall that “the people who do not present the Municipal Council a new tariff of the thermal agent will be sued and will have to provide explanations.” Dorin Chirtoaca called the prosecutor's office's actions as “pressure on the part of the state to make us ask for raising the charges. We could go to the prosecutor's office be cause we don't want to raise the tariff.” The Municipal Council have been proposed two draft decisions to adopt a new tariff: one sent by Termocom heat supplier, demanding to raise the charge to 842 lei/Gcal, and the other signed by the Chisinau mayor asking to reconfirm the present charge of 540 lei. Now the city hall owes Termocom 147 million lei. The heat supplier warned earlier in December that it will decrease the agent's temperature, if it cannot get its debts. Termocom invokes that SA Moldovagaz had warned it of lowering the supply to the power plants.
