Consumers in the municipality of Balti will pay more for heat. The National Agency for Energy Regulation on Wednesday approved a charge of 3,905 lei/Gcal without VAT for the heat supplied by SA “CET Nord”, up 28% or 853 lei from the current charge, IPN reports.

For the heat supplied by SA “Comgaz-Plus”, the charge is 4,806 lei/Gcal, by 1,040 lei or 28% more than at present. The consumers served by “Rețelelor și Centralelor Termice Comrat” will pay 4,355 lei/Gcal, up 1,013 lei or 30%, while those served by SA “Apă-Canal Chişinău” – 4,271 lei/Gcal, up 1,137 lei or 36%.

The households supplied with heat by “Servicii Comunale Glodeni” will pay 4,208 lei/Gcal, up 978 lei or 30%, those supplied by “Antermo” – 4,208 lei/Gcal, up 1,021 lei or 32%, while those supplied by “Servicii Comunal-Locative” Orhei – 4,445 lei/Gcal, up 933 lei or 27%.

The National Agency for Energy Regulation argued the heat charges were raised in order to fully include the regulated purchase price of natural gas in their structure. This component grew from 18,345 lei/1000m3 to 24,915 lei/1000m3.

The new charges will take effect when they are published in the Official Gazette.
