The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection will consider the possibility of detaching by a health worker to the 15 COVID-19 information centers set up in settlements by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations to perform rapid tests, IPN quoted acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi as saying after the meeting of the Unified Command Center.
The official said he considers the use of this network of centers created by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations will enable to increase the number of citizens who need a rapid test.
They will see if there are sufficient supplies at the Ministry of Health so as to ensure the rapid testing process. If the necessary supplies are not available, a new lot of rapid tests will be purchased as a matter of urgency.
Aureliu Ciocoi noted that owing to the opening of COVID-19 information centers by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations and other subdivisions of the Ministry of Home Affairs in 15 settlements of Moldova, the population is more informed. Since their opening, 1,600 informative brochures about COVID-19 have been distributed and over 800 face masks have been provided for free.
