During the state of emergency, as of April 1, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova and foreigners with permits of stay who intend to enter the country and do not have the status of medically insured person included in the mandatory health insurance system will be obliged to pay the mandatory health insurance premium in fixed amount, as it was decided by the Commission for Exceptional Situations, IPN reports.
The same decision provides that the persons who will return home by plane will pay the mandatory health insurance premium in fixed amount through the agency of the governmental system Mpay.
The persons who cross the state border by road will mandatorily fill out and sign an own responsibility statement by which they will undertake to pay the mandatory health insurance premium for 2020 within 72 hours.
