Cycling races for professionals and amateurs, competitions and distractions for children, free medical consultations and an artistic program will be staged by the Nationals Health Insurance Company (CNAM) in Chisinau on October 26. The Health Day in Chisinau will be opened officially in the central park at 11am, IPN reports.

Professional cyclists and amateurs will be able to take part in separate races. The professional cyclists will ride from Chisinau to Hancesti and back, while the amateurs will set off from the Public Garden
“Stephan the Great and Holy” and will travel up to the City’s Gates and back. The winners will be awarded bicycles. There will also be held different sports competitions for children and grownups, including weightlifting and running. The best will receive prizes.

During the event, the visitors will be able to get free medical advice at special tents, while those interested in ecological products will be able to purchase some at the Fair of Healthy Food “BioFest”.

The concert will involve such folk and pop music singers as Ion Paladi, Adrian Ursu, Ioana Capraru, Vitalie Todirascu, Alex Calancea and the band “Rupt”, the band “Animo”, and the dance ensemble “Fantezia”.

The activities to inform and raise awareness of a healthy lifestyle form part of the fourth campaign “Say Yes to your health!”. Similar events were held in Edinet on October 5 and in Cahul on October 19.
