The Ministry of Health for November 10 reported a record number of deaths associated with COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic - 60, IPN reports.
Later, the Ministry noted that a part of these cases refer to earlier periods. “The Ministry of Health identified a series of inconsistencies in the registration and reporting of cases of death caused by COVID-19. More exactly, there were identified hundreds of deaths that were recorded, but weren’t reported. Some of these date from 2020. For example, nine of the 60 deaths reported today refer to earlier periods,” wrote the Ministry of Health.
According to the institution, a team is now verifying all the cases registered in 2020-2021 and more details on the issue will be provided soon in a press briefing.
Also on November 10, the Ministry of Health reported 980 new cases of COVID-19. Of the 2,757 infected persons who are now hospitalized, 277 are in a very serious state and 49 of these were put on a ventilator.
