President Nicolae Timofti will make an official visit to Bucharest on February 16-17. He will have meetings with his Romanian counterpart Klaus Iohannis, Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos, President of the Senate Calin Popescu-Tariceanu and other officials, IPN reports.
According to the presidential press service, the discussions will center on the bilateral relations, Moldova’s European agenda and the cooperation at economic, political and social levels.
Within the visit, the head of state will hand over the awards presented earlier to President Klaus Iohannis, head of the Department for Emergency Situations at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Romania Raed Arafat and Romanian actor Florin Piersic.
