The parliamentary group of the Liberal Party on July 2 will have a meeting with President Nicolae Timofti. The announcement was made in the Parliament’s sitting by the Liberal leader Mihai Ghimpu, who asked for a break for holding the meeting, IPN reports.

Asked by Head of Parliament Andrian Candu what this meeting will center on, Mihai Ghimpu avoided saying, but noted that he believes nothing definite will be discussed.

The break of half an hour was asked starting with 11am.

President Nicolae Timofti is holding discussions with the leaders of the parliamentary groups with a view to agreeing an agenda of consultations for designating a candidate for Prime Minister. He already had separate meetings with the leader of the Liberal-Democratic parliamentary group Vlad Filat and with the leader of the Democratic group Marian Lupu.
