President Nicolae Timofti will pay an official visit to Turkmenistan on April 7-8, at the invitation of his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, IPN has learned from the presidential press service.

In Ashgabat, the two heads of taste will take part in official discussions in extended format that will involve the members of the two delegations. The sides are to sign a number of bilateral cooperation agreements in such areas as energy, trade, agriculture, transport, education, and culture.

The official delegation of Moldova includes presidential advisers, the deputy head of the Parliament’s commission on economy, budget and finance Marcel Raducan, Minister of Agriculture Ion Sula, Minister of Transport Vasile Botnari, Minister of Culture Monica Babuc, and Deputy Minister of Economy Tudor Copaci.
