Grigore Prisacaru was named as head of the State Ecological Inspectorate by Government decision on March 17. The new director has graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry and worked at the Chisinau Ecological Inspectorate. By another decision, Marin Ciobanu was appointed as administrator of the free economic zone Balti. Ciobanu participated in carrying out the feasibility study of this zone. The Cabinet also approved a draft presidential decree whereby Igor Panfile is designated Deputy Minister of Defense, responsible for the National Army's foreign relations.
