Alexei Ostrovsky, the head of the Russian Duma committee on CIS affairs, is on a working visit to Moldova during May 26-30, at the invitation of Moldova's Parliament, the legislature's press unit reports. The Russian official will hold meetings with Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin, Speaker of Parliament Marian Lupu, the head of the parliamentary commission for foreign policy and European integration Grigore Petrenco and with the leaders of the parliamentary groups. Ostrovsky will also meet with Reintegration Minister Vasili Sova, the director of the Interethnic Relations Bureau Olga Goncearova, compatriots, etc. The visit agenda includes a trip to the Transnistrian region.
