Mihai Cirlig will be dismissed from the post of head of Chisinau’s Riscani district and excluded from the Liberal Party. Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca said that such a decision was taken following deviations identified by the Discipline Commission of the Chisinau City Hall.

”One year ago, I announced that the district head was suspected of committing illegalities in his work. Last week, I informed him that he will be fired from the post of district head and excluded from the party. The decision is definitive,” the mayor said after the ordinary meeting of City Hall officials.

The mayor also said that the district head will be discharged in accordance with the Labor Code and will be unable to get the post back. He advised Mihai Cirlig to leave voluntarily.

For his part, Mihai Cirlig called on the mayor to hear not only what he wants, but also what is true. Otherwise, he risks becoming a chewing gum without taste and flavor.
