Speaker Andrian Candu, together with other representatives of Parliament, invited the leaders of the protesting people to a meeting at 3pm on January 21, IPN reports.

The Head of Parliament called for calm and urged the protesters not to yield to provocations and to refrain from actions that can encourage the use of violence.

A large number of people came together in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau and in front of the Parliament Building to continue to protest against the vote for the new Government headed by Democrat Pavel Filip. The people also demand early legislative elections.
