The head of Botanica district of Chisinau Boris Prepeliţa will be reprimanded and will not get his pay for July. In the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services and divisions, mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban said the proposal was formulated following the unexpected inspection carried out on July 31 in the Park “Valea Trandafirilor”, where the illegal placing of kiosks, presence of garbage and other violations were signaled, IPN reports.

The mayor noted that if other deviations are identified, the district head will be fired. “My colleagues and I will daily make unplanned visits to districts and those who do not do their job consciously will be dismissed,” stated Ion Ceban.

The head of Buiucani district Vadim Brînzaniuc will remain without half of the salary for July because it was determined that cars continue to be parked in the green areas of the district.

The head of Centru district Pavel Rusu was warned to take steps as the leaves that fell last autumn haven’t been yet collected.
