Hancesti flood victims will have new houses near Leuseni village
Money from the World Bank's funds for eradicating the crisis in Moldova and a part of the grant provided by Romania will be used to build houses for the flood victims from Hancesti district, Prime Minister Vlad Filat said in a program on Publika TV, Info Prim Neo reports.
“The construction works will begin next week. A number of 203 houses were destroyed in Obileni and 500 houses in Cotul Morii. If we do not manage to save the 78 houses from Sarateni, we will built homes for those families too,” Vlad Filat said.
The Government needs 400 million lei to erect new houses for the flood victims. They will be built near Leuseni village of Hancesti district. The Premier assured the people will be provided with dwellings by winter.
Vlad Filat also said an autonomous common service involving the Department for Emergencies, the Emergencies Service and other intervention institutions will be created in the future to deal with possible natural disasters. The project will be financed by the World Bank.
The July 14 meeting of the Government is held in the flood-hit Nemteni village, Hancesti.
