The Gross Domestic Products (GDP) in the first half of 2015 grew by 3.6% on the corresponding period last year, to 52.950 billion lei at market prices, IPN reports, quoting the National Bureau of Statistics.
The gross value added generated in the economy delivered an 83.9% contribution to the GDP grow, with a 3.8% increase in volume. The contribution of the taxes on products was 16.4%, with their volume increasing by 1.8%. The exports of goods and services and the gross fixed capital formation also had a contribution following the increase in their volumes by 5.1% and 2.5% respectively.
As a result of the 1.8% decrease in the volume of imports of goods and services and in the final consumption of the public administration, these had a negative contribution to the GDP growth, of minis 1.5% and, respectively, minus 0.2%.
