Half of the protocols from the republican constitutional referendum have been processed.

43.5% of voters chose the "Yes" option, while 56.5% went with the "No" option, according to 1,115 of the 2,219 protocols processed.

In the referendum, voters answered "Yes" or "No" to the question: "Do you support the amendment of the Constitution for the Republic of Moldova's accession to the European Union?"

The law will be considered adopted if the majority of citizens participating in the referendum vote for it, reports IPN.
