The windows of two trolleybuses running on routes in Chisinau were damaged when two unknown persons fired at them from a pneumatic gun near the Circus, on Renașterii Naționale Blvd, at about 8:40pm on November 9. None of those in the trolleybus were affected, press office of the General Police Inspectorate Mariana Bețivu has told IPN.

Contacted by IPN, director of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company Dorin Chernyi said two shots were fired and two windows of two trolleybuses retuning on route No. 23 were damaged. The price of a window is up to 8,000 lei. The company is ready to offer assistance in elucidating the circumstances of this case.

The police opened an investigation into this case.
