Guillotine 2+ will close in August
The third and last stage of reviewing the legal licenses issued by public authorities to economic entities will close in July-August this year, said Alexandru Sava, expert of USAID/BIZTAR Project, which provides assistance to the Ministry of Economy in promoting the regulatory reform, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“Within the third stage, there will be formulated regulations concerning the Government and the ministries. They will describe standard procedures like how a license is issued, where and to whom the applicant must apply, what documents should be presented,” said Alexandru Sava.
Within the first two stages of this revision called Guillotine 2+, all the certificates, authorizations, permits and other legal licenses issued by different public authorities were inventoried. There were identified about 500 legal licenses. Almost half of them were eliminated, while 270 were included in a list that contains the name, type and category of the document and the fee charged for it.
“If we study this list that is called the Nomenclature of Legal Licenses issued to businesses, we will see that many of the documents are released free of charge,” said Alexandru Sava.
The Ministry of Economy announced its intention to launch Guillotine 3 so as to make the prices of the services provided to businesses transparent.
