A number of 35 Swedish citizens will be visiting Moldova during May 17-21, 2018. They intend to visit a number of monasteries, fortresses, vineries and other tourist attractions as part of the project “Discover the cultural and wine values of Moldova” that was launched by Moldova’s Embassy in Stockholm, IPN reports.

To select the Swedish citizens, the Embassy of Moldova in Sweden, in cooperation with the Honorific Consulate, staged a meeting to promote the Moldovan-Swedish relations, tourist itineraries, national culture and traditions.

The event involved representatives of the business and NGO sectors, journalists, members of the Rotary Club and of government consultancy agencies of Sweden.
