The real salary this October, calculated as a difference between the gross nominal pay and the consumer price index, was 106.0% on last October. The lowest gross nominal salaries in the period were paid in fish-breeding (1,597.9 lei), agriculture, hunting, and forestry (2,334.4 lei), while the highest ones in the financial sector (6,805.7 lei), electric power, heat, gas and water (5,115.5 lei), and in the public administration (4,574 lei).
