The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Grigory Karasin is paying a visit to Moldova on March 28-29. This will meet with officials of Chisinau and Tiraspol, IPN reports.
In an interview for the news agency TASS, Grigory Karasin said time has come to restore the dialogue between the two states after a long period of political uncertainty in Moldova.
According to the Russian official, he will meet with senior government officials of Moldova to discuss a number of issues. He will also prepare the official visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Andrei Galbur to Moscow, which was set for April 4.
Earlier, Andrei Galbur said an immediate action plan in relation to Russia was worked out. While in Moscow, this will meet with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
