Greening day postponed

Because unfavorable weather conditions, the National Greening Day “A Tree for our Eternity” has been postponed for April 12, 2008, Info-Prim Neo reports, citing a press release from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
The ministry’s press service stated for the Agency that a message with a similar content signed by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Violeta Ivanov was sent to all the heads of the central public governments.
The minister anticipated such a situation at a news conference on the topic held on April 3. She said that the greening activities would start immediately after the weather permitted, possibly before April 12.
