The telephone line dedicated to the issues of Ukrainian refugees, 0800 800 11, was taken over by the UN Refugee Agency, IPN reports.
Launched on March 1 and managed so far by the Unified Crisis Management Center, the green line during March 1 – April 8 dealt with over 10,500 calls from Ukrainian refugees and also from citizens of the Republic of Moldova who needed information to donate or help people who came from the neighboring country.
On average, the operators of the green line of the Government’s Call Center daily received by about 250 calls, with a maximum of 761 calls being recorded on a day.
Earlier this month, the UN Refugee Agency formed a new team of the Call Center and found a location for this, undertaking to cover all the costs related to the functioning of the telephone line.
