Gratis to polling place by train
The Moldovans who are in Romania will be able to travel gratis by train to the polling places establish in Romania and vote in the November 28 early legislative elections. A decision to this effect was taken by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Romania, at the request of the Bessarabian Student Organization, the organization says in a note, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The Bessarabians living in Romania will be allowed to travel free of charge after they present the Moldovan passport or identity card. “Given the importance of a higher turnout in elections and the large number of Moldovans who are in Romania, the Bessarabian Student Organization in Bucharest is preoccupied with the informing and mobilization of the voters from all the towns of Romania, including those where there are no polling places,” reads the note.
The voters will be able to cast their ballots in Bucharest, Iasi, Cluj, Galati, Constanta, Timisoara, and Brasov.
