Grants and financing of 100m lei to be offered through ODIMM programs

Grants and financing to the total value of about 100 million lei from budgetary and European resources will be provided to business entities through active programs of the Organization for the Development of the Sector of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (ODIMM), IPN quoted Minister of Economy and Infrastructure Sergiu Railean as saying in a press briefing.

The female entrepreneurs will benefit from grants ranging from 165 000 lei to 1 649 000 lei for purchasing equipment and software solutions, for development and consultancy.

Sergiu Railean said these are immediate measures aimed at supporting the business sector that was affected by the pandemic crisis. “In a move to identify new resources for supporting the business community, we discussed with all the international financial institutions. These expressed their readiness to extend and adjust the financing mechanisms for the entrepreneurs hit by the pandemic crisis. The priority directions are the SMEs and enterprises from the affected areas and those of strategic importance,” noted the minister.
